The Mardix Group are pleased to announce it has been awarded the electrical infrastructure package for a new global research and development centre and corporate headquarter building for one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical firms. The site will be home to approximately 2,000 employees and will become one of the world’s largest centres for oncology research, further research and development will focus on a wide range of diseases and conditions.
The Mardix Group were selected after a competitive and rigorous tender process for the supply, installation and testing of the turn-key power system. The project comprises 11kV MV Switchgear with grid synchronisation, Transformers, LV Package Substations, LV Busbar Trunking Systems, Motor Control Centres (MCC’s) and final circuit distribution switchgear along with a true IEC 61850 compliant Power Management & Control System (PMCS).
